magictool for fusion v1.0 released

we developed a new tool for fusion

you just have to connect all your footage to it, make a saver and press render.

the “make nice” button for photoshop and the premiere “make movie” Plugin are still in beta

Frischluft Lenscare for Fusion Tutorial

I wasn´t happy about the deep blur in eyeon fusion, it is easy to use, but it creates some artefacts and it has no blooming. So i tested the AE plugin frischluft lenscare and nothing happend.

The Plugin doesn´t understand float values (1) and can´t read the Maya IFF Z-Channel (2)

I used a CustomTool (3a) to copy the Z-Channel to the readable red Channel (3b)

In the next step i used ColorCurves (4a) to get some values between 0 and 1. Just find the lowest color and make it black (4b).

same game for the highest value and the whitepoint (5)
EDIT: After some testing i thinks its better to use 0

after telling DepthOfField to use the red channel (6) i could select (7a) and define the focalpoint with this simple Expression (7b). Now i can use the tool and play around with the radius (8) and all the other stuff.

i will try to make a macro for this and post it here sometime in the future.

here is the first multilayer compositing test, there are still some problems with some passes and premultiplycation, but we will fix them soon.
